Open Leadership: “Fail fast, fail smart.”

26 Aug

Today I had the pleasure of attending a panel discussion at work (Turner Broadcasting) which had a formal introduction by Charlene Li. She is a shining light in the digital landscape. Charlene is the author of two books: Groundswell and Open Leadership. Since I was one of the first 100 attendees I was given her newest book, Open Leadership: How Social Technology Can Transform The Way You Lead.  Pictured below.

Charlene defined Open Leadership, as “Having the confidence and humilty to give up the need to be in control, while inspiring commitment from people to accomplish goals.”

Charlene gave me the confidence to start back at blogging, and take this blog in a different direction.
