The Aurora Borealis in Finnish Lapland

5 Oct

The Aurora Borealis is a natural light display in the sky, particularly in the polar regions, caused by the collision of charged particles directed by the Earth’s magnetic field.

The following piece was created by Flat Light Films for the new Visit Finland campaign. Flat Light Films filmed this selection of northern lights during the winter of 2011 in numerous locations in the Lapland of Finland. The imagery is set perfectly to the music of CC33. Enjoy!
